Bloom and the Giant Plum Chapter 10 : Good News Finally Bloom lay unconscious in the dark, thankfully still breathing. She quickly let out a small cough and the crocodile tongue she had eaten came flying out of her throat. The small critter hopped around frantically before zipping off into the dark. The redheaded teenager’s eyes shot open and she found herself surrounded by darkness, albeit with a nearby red light blinking on and off every few seconds. “I’m alive…?” Bloom asked herself as she looked around. “Uh, hello…?” She called out. “Kermit? She felt what appeared to be… snowflakes? Wait, that can’t be. They were just roasting a day ago, what happened? Bloom was sitting on the jagged makeshift walkway, armed with her travel book. She kept her eyes glued to it, trying to find a different route they could take. She was slightly sweating in concern, as she lifted the skirt of her purple dress. It was a pretty thing, ruffled and asymmetrical. The top of the dress was strapless. Cruella and Figg stood outside of the barricade in their fanciest clothes while the people of the town gathered in their front yard. “Ladies and gentlemen, come one and all! See the eighth wonder of the world, the world’s largest plum! Only one shilling!” Cruella spoke into a megaphone!
